  • What is the dress code for the restaurants at night?
  • Resort Casual
    Shorts or jeans, t-shirts or polo shirts. Swimwear must be covered. Shirts and footwear required.

    Resort Evening
    Dress pants or jeans for men, long or short sleeve dress shirts (with or without collar). Dress shoes or elegant sandals. No shorts, t-shirts, sleeveless shirts or sneakers.

  • Is a visa required to travel to your resorts?
  • Visas are not required from U.S. citizens by any of the countries where our resorts are located.
    However, effective January 23rd, 2007, all U.S. citizens returning from the Caribbean must have
    a valid U.S. passport in order to re-enter the U.S.

    For citizens of other countries, please contact the
    airline you are traveling for information on entry / visa requirements.

  • Do I need to bring an electrical adapter?
  • 110 volts, 50 cycles in Jamaica; 110 volts, 60 cycles in Antigua; 220 volts, 50 cycles in St. Lucia; and 120 volts, 60 cycles in the Bahamas. But don't worry - we provide 110 volts outlets in every room so plugging your electrical items will not be a problem. Please note that hairdryers are provided in every room, so you may leave that out of your packing list.

  • Do you have a nurse on property?
  • There is a Registered Nurse on the premises at every Sandals (except Sandals Inn) with daily office hours. Her services are complimentary but there is a charge for medication and/or Doctor consultations should these be necessary.

  • Can I drink the water?
  • Since all our resorts have water filtration plants on property, drinking the water in your room is perfectly safe. Bottled water is included in most rooms categories.

  • Should I get vaccinated before going?
  • Vaccinations are not necessary to any of the Caribbean countries where our resorts are located. However, we suggest that you speak to your doctor for more information.

  • Can your resorts accommodate food allergies?
  • You can rest assured that we'll will work very closely with you and our chef can ensure that the appropriate meals are available. Please provide us with you arrival date and booking number as well as your name and the resort at which you will be vacationing so that arrangements can be made for you to speak with the chef on arrival.

  • How much cash should I carry?
  • Since everything is included and tipping is simply not allowed, you will not need any cash while on property. Our front desks will accept most major credit cards (MC, VISA and AMEX). We also accept traveler's checks. Upon check in, all guests will be asked to tender a credit card to activate their room folio. The purchase of optional services from the resort outlets will be done by signing all charges to the guest's room folio. Cash is not accepted at any of the revenue outlets.

    However, if you are planning to travel off property for shopping and such, we recommend bring some cash along as some vendors do not accept credit cards or travelers checks. There are exchange bureaus at every Sandals Resort. All of the islands accept US dollars, but please note that you may receive change in the local currency. Additionally, you may want to carry small bills to tip luggage attendants at the airport and airport transfer drivers outside of the resort.

  • How do I arrange transportation to the resort?
  • Your all-inclusive package includes roundtrip airport transfers and arrangements are made by Sandals - no action on your part is required. Immediately outside of customs at the airport, you will find a Sandals Desk. A representative will lead you to an air-conditioned shuttle bus that will take you to the resort. Please note that transfers are to/from Sangster International Airport (Montego Bay) in Jamaica, Hewanorra International Airport, in Saint Lucia, Vc Bird International Airport in Antigua and Nassau International Airport in the Bahamas.
