Sandals Inn

The Caryle was outstanding. We truly enjoyed all the staff from our butlers, to the front desk and William/Christopher at the Grill station. We were surprised that there were very few dance parties scheduled at the resorts and that reggae music was not played continously at the Caryle. Even after being left in town by the tour guide (Andre) during a brief shopping trip - having Doniesha call us to make sure we were ok and knew our way back to the resort was comforting and reassuring. We loved our room, the food/drinks and all the staff.... We plan on coming back next year same time...With a larger group...

This was our first trip to Jamacia and to a SandalsCaryle Inn resort. Both were fantastic. The staff (Jevan, Danesha, TJ, Lamar, Sheryll, Lisa, Odane, and all the others) treated us like high rollers. It was a unique experience which was worth more than money to us. Our maids (names not known) would clean and make up our room everyday and turn our bed down at night. We met terrific couples from England, Scotland, Canada, Pennsylvania, Kansas, Iowa and other places. We went on a very informative and fun tour to Negril. Our tour guide, Dalton, was full of island history and his own brand of humor. We also went on the regae boat cruise which was a little loud for us - the younger folks seemed to like it though (except for the few who got sick). Next time I would skip this tour and do the horseback riding in the waves. On our last day we booked a massage with the M&M girls (don't remember their names). This was a very relaxing and energizing experience. They both had a nice touch - with lots of oil. We hope to go back to some Sandals resort in the future - all inclusive is the best way to go.

Sandals Inn

We went for our anniversary just to get away and relax. The day we arrived we were welcomed and wished a happy anniversary. The staff went out of there way to welcome us and make our anniversary extra special. From the special dessert to the champaign, card, and floweres spread over the bed, they really made it memorable. Each day the staff was extra friendly and helpful and quickly became like family. We have had several trips to Sandals locations but the Carlyle really took the extra steps to make you feel at home. We enjoyed visiting the other area sandals and spent a coupe days at each but always felt like we were going back home at the end of the evening. All of our sandals vacations have been great but this last one got better each day even though each day we thought it couldn't get any better. Thank you to the fantastic staff and management at the Carlyle. Anyone thinking about visiting a sandals for their vacation should definately do it .

Sandals Inn

It was our 1st trip to Jamaica. We were celebrating our 5 year anniversary and being emptynesters. We chose the Carlyle for relaxation. The entire staff was amazing! By day 2, everyone knew who we were by name. Our butler, Jevan, was fantastic. He met our every want and need. His smile was the highlight for my wife every day! We enjoyed sitting on our balcony and watching the locals go about their daily lives. We watched a wedding take place oceanside while we sat on our balcony. We enjoyed the bar that was in the middle of the magnificent gardens where all the guests hung out to socialize at night. The food was definitely 5 star all the way. My wife was impressed by the cleanliness (she's a bit of a clean freak). We enjoyed the 5 minute walk to duty free shopping. We felt safe and secure because some type of police or security was everywhere! The locals were so friendly. We loved the "Stay at 1... Play at 3" concept. Getting around from hotel to hotel was so easy. We enjoyed the private island at the Royal Carribean so much that we went there twice! The "Stewfish Restaurant" at the Montego Bay Hotel was incredible. Our butler got us a table on the beach, under the stars. We dined on the most delicious seafood with our toes in the sand while looking at the ocean and listening to the gentle crashing waves. Dinner at the "Carlyle Restaurant" was the perfect 5 star 5 course meal! Our butler surprised us on our last night by decorating our bed with towels, flowers and chocolate for our anniversary! We were leaving Saturday and it was Jevan's day off. He came to work to make sure that our departure went smoothly. He even rode the shuttle to the airport with us and made sure we were where we needed to be for departure. The hotel manager and assistant manager made a point to bid us farewell too. We will definitely be returning to the Carlyle next year! Thanks to Jevan and the entire staff for the perfect vacation!!!

Sandals Inn

This was our first visit ever to Jamaica. The warm temperatures were just what we needed (being from Pennsylvania). From the time we landed to the day we left, we were taken care of. The staff went above and beyond the call to make our stay at the Carlyle the best. Our room was great (on the third floor). Our butler, Nigy, made our stay one to remember, it being our 25th anniversary. The other two butlers, Danesha & Steven, were also great! The other staff, Lisa, Jevan, William, & Lij, were all great. We had so much fun and made so many friends there that we will be going back to the Carlyle. The reason why we picked the Sandals Carlyle was due to the size because my wife has trouble being around large crowds. The Sandals Montego Bay & the Royal Caribbean would have not worked for her, so the Carlyle worked very well for her. It was great to use the other two resorts for dining as well. We do agree that the public beach is somewhat loud at times, but the overall experience made it worthwhile. To sum it up, the price was worth the experience.
