Couple Finally Enjoy Dream Honeymoon In Jamaica Following Tragedy

Having tragically lost two babies just a year after tying the knot, deserving couple Ben and Bryony Seabrook finally enjoyed a belated once-in-a-lifetime honeymoon to Jamaica, seven years after they were forced to cancel their original holiday.

Having promised Bryony she’d have the honeymoon she deserved, Ben got in touch with us to see if there was anything we could do. After hearing the couple’s emotional story, had the pleasure of helping organise the honeymoon the couple had always dreamed of in our beautiful Sandals South Coast resort.

Ben and Bryony tied the knot in September 2011, five-years after meeting on a one-way flight to Australia. They had chosen one of our resorts in Jamaica as their ideal honeymoon destination.

Bryony found out she would be excepting their first child, as the couple had to cancel their trip. On the 10th May 2012 the couple’s first son, Dylan, was stillborn leaving the couple heartbroken and in a “very dark place”. The couple also sadly lost a second baby that same year.

After the loss of Dylan, Ben and Bryony made the decision that we would not let the loss they suffered be in vain so set about raising money for a charity which helps families who have still born babies, Tommy’s. Since then, Bryony has worked tirelessly doing several challenges including multiple half marathons, the London Marathon, London Ride100, the Swim Serpentine Challenge and countless social events. To date Bryony has raised just under £22,000 in Dylan’s name.

Bryony says, “From then on, I sort of had this fire to save others from going through the same thing”. Ben says of his wife’s incredible achievements, “It’s incredible to have a wife so driven to doing this kind of work. “I hope this (honeymoon) goes some way to show her how proud I am". Ben and Bryony now have a happy and heathy four-year-old son called Jenson.

The couple enjoyed off their 7-night stay at the Luxury Included ® Sandals South Coast Resort, situated on Jamaica’s Whitehouse region. They enjoyed a romantic couple’s massage and a private candlelit dinner on the beach, as well as an Island Routes private catamaran cruise from the resort. We are so pleased that we were able to provide Ben and Bryony with the special Jamaican trip they had always hoped for.
